You're a little late for the party. The classic Google home page is back to normal and the annoying PacMan sounds are gone.

Why don't you just change your home page. Or use another search engine? Google has never been my home page, and I never use it so I don't have that problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Josh" <[email protected]>

Thank you I didn't really know what was going on with it. That is why I checked Norton right off the bat. I wish there was a way to lower the background noise so it does not cover up JAWS though. ----- Original Message ----- From: "CrisMunoz54" <[email protected]>

Relax, it's pacman's 30th anniversary. Annoying, but harmless.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] PAC MAN NOISE SOUND HEARD WHEN STARTING GOOGLE

All JAWS users,
First of all I want to ask if anyone else has ever experienced a noise such
as a pac man game playing when starting Google? I then scrolled down and
seen a link that said insert coin. I did not click on the link one because with that annoying noise playing it was difficult to understand JAWS so I
was more concerned with trying to find out how to stop it. I checked my
Norton and it said I was protected. Can anyone enlighten me on what this is and whether there is a way to stop it? Also after the noise is done I guess I gotten eaten because after that all I heard was a siren like sound. Any knowledge on this matter would be appreciated greatly. I was using Internet Explorer 8 and JAWS 10 with a dell laptop 1545 OS is XP professional this information may not be needed but I like to provide more information than
necessary just in case. Thank you all for your assistance.
