I have been having difficulty downloading programs and drivers. I
frequently get error messages that instruct me to turn off my virus
protection or firewall. That is why I want to turn it off.

Can you turn AVG off and on without difficulty?

Frankly, I am disappointed with MSE because it won't complete updates
consistently. I am also not a big fan of Avast. So what to do? I am thinking

about trying Avira, and I am wondering how accessible is that particular
anti-virus program?
