The sharware version is fully functional up to a certain number of keystrokes.
I think you can purchase a one-year license for $20 and lifetime for $50.

Use a program like Goldwave which is shareware for your recording.

Take a regular miniphone patch chord from your headphone jack of your
cassette recorder to the auxilliary line input on your PC soundcard. Go
into Goldwave, use the f11 key to go to the volume tab, go to the line input
checkbox select that and set your level.

Hi, all
I am looking for a program that I can records tapes into MP 3 files for my computer. I have many audio books that I purchase in the past and CDs that people had got for me. I would like to transfer all those books into my PC
Which program I need and what type of cable will need to connect my tape
recorder to the PC to record my audio books. A good program that works
well with jaws will be good.
