I have been having a particular case of losing focus ever since the last
JAWS 11 update. The odd thing is that it is happening in JAWS 10! I
primarily still use JAWS 10 because there are somehow unrelated user scripts
like the BX Toolbox that have strange side effects on JAWS 11 and Windows
Live Mail.
My new focus issue in JAWS 10 is sometimes when I launch a new browser
window or if I use Tab browsing. It happens 100% of the time if I use
Control + Enter on a link to open a new Tab in a background window. The
focus gets lost. The arrow and navigation keys no longer work.
Presumidelly, It is at the bottom of the page because pressing Tab takes me
to the address bar! Pressing Shift + Tab takes me back to the link I was at
before the incidentt. Kind of a Twighlight episode.
