All machines are 64 bit. The question is do you want a 32 bit or a 64
bit operating system? Personally I would stay with 32 bit, unless you
have mission critical applications that require intensive memory and
processing power. Most of us do not, so it's best to stay with 32 bit
for the time being. But also note that 64 bit operating systems is the
future, so you may just want to go 64 bit anyway so that your laptop is
"futureproof". Hope this helps.
