I am running Office 2002 and it is very similar to 2003. To make sure
Sounds are turned on, open Word, press alt + T for tools, press the letter
O
for options, Control + tab to the General tab, tab to the provide feedback
with sound checkbox and make sure this box is checked, now tab down to
okay
and press the spacebar. You are done. Hope this helps. Take care.

Once installed, you will need to open Word, and turn sounds on in the

menu.
I am not familiar with 2003, so I can't tell you exactly where to find,

when I saved a docqument, and a noise when I opened closed and when I

lited, and deleated, there was a little sound, and I liked them, if any
