Following an earlier thread on this topic today... cutepdf.com. DWLD/install for free the 'cutepdfwriter' which is a freeware at cutepdf.com (not talking about their pro version which u gotta buy) along with the ghostscript converter which is linked right there on the 'cutepdf writer page. Next go to your printer settings and switch default printer to 'cute pDF' which will show up there in the printer list. Then any doc, spreadsheet, web page whatever you may have open, hit up control P to bring up the print menu and cute pdf should already be selected. Then go straight to 'print' button ignoring all the usual print preference choices and voila..u will get a 'save to' dialog where u can save the doc/sheet/web page/whatever as a pdf file on your hard drive. i believe there is a way to select cute pdf as printer for the above purpose without having to make it the default printer but I have been too lazy to even look into that. you can find those instructions at via the URL above. this way u don't load up any sensitive docs to some 3rd party web site via the internet coz u know whatever go through the internet is going straight to the NSA computers or at least can easily be stored somewhere .
