Hello.
If using jaws 11, the keystroke when the message is displayed is alt
insert W. this will open the message in a separate window, and allow you
to select all control A and copy control C to the clipboard, then you can
paste it control V in to a message.
If using jaws 10, the keystroke is control insert W. the rest of the
procedure is the same. By the sounds of it, windows live mail appears to
be scanning for viruses or using security to scan for viruses. either
way, avast's kicking in and wants you to disable security. i don't use
windows live mail though, i'll try and find a work around for you. who's
your email provider? thanks alot for your feedback on avast. what
version are you running? it helps when reporting to avast staff.

BTW, I found the messsge I was refering to regarding avast and email
because it came up again. I Brailled it out but could somebody please
tell me the keystroke to capture the information shown on the screen so I
can just paste it in the body of a message for the future. Thanks. Below
is the actual message in its entirity. However, I am not certain where to
locate this information in Windows live email to make the required
change.
"Avast information! dlg
Avast has detected a secure connection from your program (process
wmail.exe) to the Smtp server 74.125.59.109 This type of connection can
not be checked for viruses. Please disable SSl/tls in your mail client so
that the mail sanner can scan your mail. The mail scanner will provide
the Ssl/tls security itself."

Hi.
I didn't have to use the jaws curser at all, just out of curiosity,
which sections did you have to use the jaws curser? i'll drop your
comments in an email to avast support if you want, or you could contact
them directly? it just helps to know what different issues people are
having. i don't know of any settings you could change apart from the
setting that says the system uses higher graphics to represent different
aspects of the program, i think that's in general/basic settings, try
unticking that and see what happens.

I just installed the latest avast. Although it appears to be more jaws
friendly I still have to use the jaws cursor more then I thought I
would. Are there any settings either in jaws and/or avast itself to
make it even more accessible. Thanks. For answers to frequently asked
