Try the radiobutton 4 of 4, "always use OSM (screen presentation). I've
assumed that you have all other settings correct. i don't have an Apex,
but have a brailleNote mPower.

I did find that, but I'm not really sure what it all means, and even
when I change it to various settings, the display still isn't reading
consecutive lines. It will slip around. Admittedly it's slightly odd.
