Yes, but they should call Freedom Scientific and Humanware to get exact instructions. Freedom has made an agreement with Humanware to allow their braille drivers to work with JAWS using Windows 7. But since I don't know what this persons system parameters are, I don't want to tell him and then if it does not work correctly I get blamed for it.

JAWS probably doesn't 'support' this any more except under Windows XP.
I don't know either way, though.

Hi all,
So how can we use our Apex as a bluetooth display with JAWS? Also what
versions of JAWS support this?

Hi all,
Hi all,

I'm not sure if any on list are using a BraileNote Apex as a display
with Jaws, but if so, I'm wondering how to get the display to pan
correctly. I successfully connected it via bluetooth, and the panning
options I thought were set correctly, but the display isn't advancing
as it should, (it starts off at the beginning of the document and
then doesn't show the next part of the line once advanced). I also
can't activate any options, folders, menus, etc., using the cursor
routing buttons, which I thought could be done. I did look in the
Jaws help files about it, but couldn't really find anything that made
this any clearer. Any help ere is appreciated. Feel free to write off
list.

Thanks, and take care,

Liz
