Dear David and Fellow List Members,
But I thought all versions of Windows comes with a talking clock!

I mean, I hold down the JAWS key, (0 on the num pad) and hit F12 and I get JAWS speaking the time.
To get the Day and Date I hit it twice in rapid succession.

If you do not mind, I will tell you what a group of Blind Chess enthusiasts are desperately looking for, a computerized Chess Clock, that is a clock with two times, one for you and one for your opponent, which you can stop and start, like a pair of "Timers".

Has anyone seen anything like this that is JAWS friendly?

I have seen some "Chess Clocks" on web sites before, but they do not work at all with JAWS.

Thanks for any assistance in this matter.

With Best Regards,
Alan

Look on the programs page for the APH talking clock with a human voice
that
chimes every 15 minutes.

I hope you can help as I don't know where to look. Do you have a
talking
clock in your programs which I can download on my computer? Years ago,
I
had one called Clock Dummy which had an almost human voice and which
could
chime every 15 minutes if I wanted it to but I lost the item after my
computer went to the shop for some attention.
