If you chose verbosity level set to beginner or highest, you would get more info red by JAWS. JAWSKey+6, alt-s, v for these dialogues. There's also a help button which you can use to read more on the topics.

Hi all;
When I check my cursor with alt delete, it appears that the alignment commands work, even though JAWS does not announce it. Also, for some reason, when I hit control i, JAWS announces that command.

Also, I checked my verbosity level and is on intermediate.
The Control F and control J commands did not give much information.

Thanks for everybody's input!

Rich

No, it should work that way.

Are you checking your cursor position with alt-delete?

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Microsoft question

I have XP home and 10.00
I used to be able to center a line in microsoft word by hitting control E.
Then I would align left by hitting control L.

This command does not work for me now.
I tried to search for this command in menus but could not find it.

Any thoughts?
Thank you.

Rich
