To change the log-on so it doesn't ask you, do the following:

1. Do the windows-run command windowsKey-R and type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes and press enter.

2. There will be a checkbox which says users must log on using a password. Leave this checked for now.

3. Tab once. YOu will be on a list of accounts for the computer. You will hear administrator, etc. Arrow down and find the account you want to have windows log-on to automatically, such as Angie Administrator.

4. Continue tabbing back to the checkbox that says you need to use a password and uncheck it.

5. Hit the apply button. Then hit ok.

Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] question on windows xp log on

Hello when I turn on my computer, it asks me for my username and password. How do I change that and make it so windows comes on by itself?
Thanks Angelina Stabile
