Starting about an hour ago my windows seven sounds keeps chiming every few seconds. It kind of sounds like when you receive a windows live email message. There is also an additional lower tone sound immediately following the two higher windows live email like tones. It seems I am being alerted to do something but I can not locate any information on the screen. I did get a windows seven update alert and to reboot which I did but the sounds continued. I checked msconfig to see if yahoo messenger was starting at bootup but it was not. I ran a virus scan and no virus was found. It's really anoying.
