I can't do that at work, as I use a lot of different programs.
It has to be some kind of easy setting to change, as all works OK in JAWS9, but I don't know what it could be.

I just alt tab and close any and all Word documents that might be open.

Thanks,
Kurt

How do I know what windows are open to close them?

Try closing all open Word windows and then reopen it. I have found
this
to work for me in the past when this has happened.

Thanks,
Kurt

My JAWS11 and Word7 aren't playing nice at work.
When I open a document, the PC cursor won't move, but I know the
document is open, as verified by the JAWS cursor.
All works well with JAWS9.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
