If jaws is running on the system then I don't see why tandem wouldn't work. There a number of reasons why speech might not happen to work. Mind you this is only my opinion. Dear Friends, I have a friend in California, who lost her JAWS speech, and called FS to see if they could hook up a "Tandem" to her computer, she has JAWS 10. A tech support person said "No" the computer needed JAWS speech! But I had a friend one time, who once had "No JAWS speech" and had FS hook up with the Tandem feature! Which is it? A lazy tech, or was my first friend confused?
