Hi All;

Below are steps I found on another list that are supposed to make Send Space
work better using all IE versions. These are supposed to stop those
unwanted windows from popping up.

I found the following on another list on how to deal with sendspace:
For those of you using IE8, outlined below is a way to tame SendSpace
completely and a lot easier than having to keep turning off active x and
mess with other settings.

1. From within IE8 hit alt t to open the tools menu then hit o for
options.

2. In the Options multi page dialog, you want to get to the security
tab. You can do this either by hitting control tab or shift tab then right
arrow.

3. You need to be on the first control of the security page, it will
say "select a zone to view or change security settings"

4. Hit right arrow to get to restricted sites.

5. Tab over to "sites" and press spacebar.

6. You will land on an add button so press spacebar.

7. You will be placed into an edit field. Just type in
http://www.sendspace.com

8. Tab to the Add button and press spacebar. Sendspace will now be
added to the list of restricted sites and you never have to touch this
again.

>From now on, every time you visit SendSpace, it will be considered a
restricted site and you will not get any more popups or those annoying flash
ads and it will be a safe environment. Note that you will se on the
SendSpace page that your browser does not support Java and some other
warnings, but disregard them as you will be able to download normally but
safely and without all that nasty crap that SendSpace likes to give out.

I read this on another list and implemented this solution and it works like
a charm. I highly recommend you give it a try if you use IE8.

Hope this helps. Take care.
Mike
