I early wrote with some difficulties I was having with openbook 9. I can now scan documents but have a few questions.
1. When I go to the workflow sub menu, I find that a choice is checked. This is the only option I can use unless I go to the settings menu, workflow. Here I must choose the workflow I want to make current. Now, back in the acquire menu workflows, this option will be checked. While studying the podcast for April, it seemed that the person demonstrating this product could simply choose the workflow he wanted right from the acquire/workflow menu. Is there a way to set this so that I can avoid the above steps in this settings menu? I also find that it is taking my Pearl to take much time to scan and have this come up on the screen. I am running a Toshiba ultra portable laptop with 2 gigs of ram. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
