good idea. I assume I must turn off jaws 7.1 during that time.
will try.

Hello David,
below is my original post, I did repost a couple days ago with the
**correction** and apology about the second example web
address. I am so embarrassed!!!
the second should be
www.wretched.tv
the word typo I had makes for a vastly different link that is,
well, ahem, adult in nature.
see below.

Hello,
we use IE 7 and JAWS 7.1. I am about to start banging my head on
a brick wall! on some webpages I arrow down or do jaws-key plus
down-arrow and I get numerous repeats of lines, sometimes lines
get stuck or skipped. if I arrow up from below this problem seems
lessened. I have tried screen-refresh, and reloading pages, to no avail.
yes I know I am using an older version of jaws for us here, it is
all we can afford right now.
is there something I can do to make webpages work right
again? this has been a problem for several months, most
particularly on my local newspaper's webpages, such as this:
http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2010/sep/11/cycling-village-proposed-park/
this one I click the link, and displayed as one page I have two
copies of the same page, much of the first half is crunched
together and has no links. then the second half has the links and
reads fairly normal except for occasional line repeats.
I have also encountered this problem on other pages such as
www.wicked.tv
and a few others.
thanks for taking the time to consider this problem.

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up
too.

Subject: question
Hello,
I have submitted my question twice without any response. can you
suggest what I might do differently?
the first time I submitted I had a typo in the second web address as
an example webpage where I experience this very frustrating
problem. that wrong address was to a very irritating website. but
it wasn't irritating because of jaws or access.
I hope you can help!
