Hi,
I know that as one of its several functionalities the self-voicing
Kurzweil 1000 will (indirectly) do this, using the FineReader
recognition engine. Similarly, OpenBook 9 downloadable as a
forty-minute demo) will probably do it. Abbyy FineReader itself, will
do it, using JAWS as screen-reader.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Seeking PDF to MS word converter that retains
tableformatting
Hello,
I've used Nuance PDF Converter professional ver4 and it doesn't
accurately retain the columns and rows in tables when converting from
PDF to .doc files. Additionally al the free converters do an even
worse job with table format when converting from PDF to MS word or
.txt.
Do you know of any other converter program even if I have to pay for
it that accurately retains all the formatting in the orig PDF document
(headings, tables) when converting to MS Word especially the tables?
