Dear Greg and List, I had this issue once, although with jaws versions 9, upgrading to 10 and because I had trouble getting the authorisation activated via the internet, I uninstalled version 10, after which version 9 no longer wanted to start when the computer started up.
It did not help to do a repair. Apparently somewhere in the settings, even though the relevant checkboxes are checked, the startup version remains connected, or tethered to the latest version you have installed, even though you have uninstalled it since, thus not starting the previous version you want to revert to, so you'd probably have to uninstall version 11, or at least re-install it again.
