Hello there;
well, I'm not sure if your installing from Cd, or, if your installing from a
executable file downloaded from the freedom scientific site.
if your installing from a cd, you should get the talking installation
through out the install process.
however, if you first uninstall your current version,
and, your going to do a re-install, from a executable from the freedom
scientific web site,
I would place a copy of this file on the desktop,
so, once the uninstall is complete,
you can restart the computer,
now, wait until you've heard the windows logo music,
give a little time for everything to load,
now, go to desktop,
WindowsKey+m,
now, press the letter J, and press enter.
note, as long as you only have one icon representing jaws, then?
the installation jaws should begin.
note, you will probably hear the UAC "user account control" kick in.
you need to allow, then the jaws install will start.
hope this helps.

Hello all,
I apologize, I forgot to mention my operating system. I am using a Asus
laptop running 64bit Windows Seven Home premium.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Reinstalling JAWS
Hello all,
I have a quick question about uninstalling and reinstalling JAWS. Should
JAWS speak during the installation process? The reason I ask is that
after I uninstall JAWS I wont have a screenreader installed. Oh one more
question, can I turn on Narrator during JAWS installation to have some
kind of speech?
Thank you in advance,
Greg Wocher
