Klif,

I have a netbook. I am running Office Pro 2007. My 11/6 screen size laptop
came with 2 gigs of ram.and the same memory size you have, 250. I am having
no problem handling this. I think the extra gig of ram would do you some
good.

I also have Openbook 9 with the Pearl Camera. I am having a little
sluggishness compared to my larger laptop, but nothing to worry about.

As far as my netbook is concerned, the best thing I have just recently done
was to install Microsoft Security Essentials. This made a wonderful
improvement from my former antivirus I was using in regards to smooth
running and faster processing, especially with Opbenbook.

Good luck, as an elementary learning support teacher, who moves around the
school constantly, my netbook has been a blessing.

Russ

Subject: [JAWS-Users] net book memory question

Hello, I'm about to purchase a net book, and want to install the complete
Microsoft office 2010 sweet home and business. My questions are

1. Does my net book have enough memory for this, it has 1 gig of ram
and a 250 GB hard drive.

2. Will this slow my net book down?

3. If it will slow it down, am I able to add more memory to it, or is
the net books built for small amounts of memory?

4. Lastly, all that said, would it be worth it? Guess I better see
what the answers are first. Thanks.
