Actually, online bill pay is safer than paper checks because there is less
chance of checks getting lost in the mail and falling into the wrong hands.
Also, you can receive daily email alerts of your account balance so that you
know instantly whether there is any suspicious activity. And no check
register to keep track of.

Actually I don't use checks anymore either, but I still have the TCB and
use the debit card but not on-line bill pay. To me, that doesn't seem
safe.
