Nowadays, most vendors allow for you to do it over the phone.  Now, the
only time I write checks is to individuals, or things like club dues,
etc. where they don't have any provision for payment other than checks
or cash.

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to set up online bbill payment with your
bank 
instead of going through the hassle of printing checks?  I never write 
checks anymore since I set up online bill payment with my bank, JP
Morgan 
Chase.  .  Plus, I save on the cost of postage and special checks.  And
I 
can do this without sighted help.
