To select sections of audio so that you can delete them, etc, see the moving the cursor, and selecting audio sections of this guide. In audacity, to select audio, you have to select one or more tracks, and a time range. One of the ways you can select a time range is that during playback you can press the [ and ] keys to mark the start and end of the selection respectively. I am writing this list to ask if anyone has or knows of a good audio tutorial on using audacity. Or may be of any assistance to me in using this program with jaws-9. I have recorded some audio which I am attempting to edit for use in a podcast. I am can select the file that I am wanting to work with. However I am unable to do things like take audio out of the file. Such as a word or sentence or phrase, breaks, etc. Any assistance which anyone is able to give me would be greatly appreciated.
