do a alt t and go to action. use down arrow to connection and check your setting. Also try to check your firewall setting it might be not letting skype connect. Also your antivirus program just in case.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] skype failed a connection

Hello,
I need a help to deal with my Skype problem. I've tried some things but got
no results.

I have JAWS 10, Windows XP and Skype is currently updated.

Not sure why it happened, but recently, I tried to call from Skype to
Skype- every time the connection is failed.

Other user of my home computer, though, does Skype calls without problems-
when he logged in his mode (he can do it even with JAWS).

I uninstalled Skype talking, that was in my user mode, and even
reinstalled Skype itself- no result- every time I call or someone calls me-
it drops.

I went to Application data and cut and copy to other place files, that, I
thought, would be the JAWS scripts files for Skype. I didn't find the way
uninstalled JAWS scripts for Skype properly- so I just cut them from there.
I'm not sure if I cleaned them completely- well, it didn't help anyway.

I don't know what else I can do and in what direction I should think.
If anyone had that please help.

Thank you very much for any suggestions.

Tatyana.
