Hi, Up until JAWS 11 they were. I think there is an issue with having more then one version at a time on a PC. Example JAWS 7.1, JAWS 9, and JAWS 11. Jaws 7.1 and JAWS 9 co-existed very well with the dongle. However, once JAWS 11 was introduced into the mix three became a crowd... Just a guess but the only logical answer I can come up with what I have seen on this list over the last while. robin
