Dave,
I installed Nero 6 Ultra Edition on my Win7 Home Premium 64-bit system,
and I was notified during the installation that it was not compatible with
this version of Windows.
However, the installation proceeded and was successful.
and even though the same notification pops up every time you launch the
program,
I was able to successfully burn both a data disk, and an audio cd with no
errors, and the disks were accessible on other machines as well.
I only tested the programs ability to perform these 2 tasks, since they are
the most common, and even though they were successful,
this is not to say that other features of the program will work properly.
This may be another case where the right combination of software and
hardware exists for the program to function properly, and may not be true in
every situation.
but then this is not surprising.
HTH,
Rick Justice
