Hi Trish & Mr. Lynch;

Thank you both for your help. You got me shoved in the right direction and
that wasn't to Doctor Phils couch either! LOL

The secret was to have the box checked for read all messages in plain text
in OE options. Below are the steps on saving an imbedded sound or picture
file.

To extract the sound or picture file;
1. Press control, shift, + O for the options menu, & control + tab to the
read tab.
2. Tab down to the read all messages in plain text option and check this
box.
3. Tab to okay & press enter.
4. Now, open the email, press Insert +A to open the attachment, & the song
will then appear in the Attach field as a
file that can be saved just like any other attachment.

To save the sound or picture file:

  1. Go to the file menu and choose save attachments as & press enter.
  2. Browse to where you want to save the sound or picture
  3. tab down to save, press enter, and you're done.

Sometimes there might be more than 1 file in the attachment so, you will
have to play around a little bit to get the 1 selected that you want to
save.

Thanks again Trish & Mr. Lynch. Hope this helps someone else also. Take
care.
Mike
