Hi Brad; Try doing the following to see if it helps; 1. Press Jaws / insert key + V, for Jaws options. 2. Press the letter " F " until you land on " Focus loss announcement . 3. If this is off, press the spacebar to turn it on. 4. Press enter or, tab to close & press enter.
Hope this helps. Take care. Though I think I had this with Firefox too sometimes. When I log on to a web page, it loads up and ttells me 100%, the status bar says "done", but I arrow down, I get the http://www. whatever. And I find I'm in the address bar. It'll do this even if I access it from a favorite. Sometimes you can refresh the screen and then Shift TAB out but not always. Mostly when you Shift tab or tab it just says nothing, arrowing down just says blank. Is there a hot key that will put focus on the web page by chance? Or if you know of any other fix by turning something off or on even. It gets quite annoying and to get focus to the browser you have to use the Jaws cursor and try to find something that isn't a link when you click it. Thanks.
