You won't lose any documents from My Documents and its subfolders if you
do a Restore point; but, given the problem is that your computer is
rebooting itself, probably due to either loss of an power or incipient
hard drive failure, a Restore point isn't likely to solve it.

Hi folks, My laptop XP3 with Jaws 11, has just started rebooting all
by its self, for no observable reason.
Since no virus was found, I am thinking of going back to my last
restore point.
Will I loose any of my Word documents or any of the books I have
downloaded from bookshare, if I do so?
