Subject: [JAWS-Users] modifications to the web site
The home page no longer automatically refreshes every 60 seconds. I got a
few requests to make it do that and I got a couple of others to make it stop
so I took out the code that forced the auto refresh. Also I got tired of
people saying that they couldn't access certain links because I have been
using pop up windows so not all but some of those links have been changed.
Basically everything other than the tips and tricks page and the programs
page where the links indicate documentation along with the download link are
now standard links. Will I ever get around to doing those things folks, to
be honest I have no idea because I would need to modify over 300 HTML files.
For the most part people will need to learn how to open a pop up window.
I just got tired of hearing my web site was not accessible, I can promise
you it is 100% blind friendly as the vast majority of you already know.
Hopefully this email doesn't sound overly harsh or anything like that, I'm
just informing the membership what is going on in the background.
I like doing this so things will continue as always. I've developed a
reputation for keeping people in the loop and that's all I'm doing, thanks.
We now return you to our regularly scheduled programming.

Most people don't know what they're doing and a lot of them are really good
at it.
