Dan,
You can go in to your control panel, click on user account and set the UAK
to zero.
I've noticed that when I do something on a Win 7 box, like installing a new
or updating a program, the UAK comes up and I have to alt-tab to get to the
application.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] User Account pop-up.
On my new windows 7 box, whenever I go to install or uninstall a program,
windows pops up a User Account Management screen. It is basically asking
A program wants to do this or that, is it allowed? No big deal, except
for the fact that JAWS utterly refuses to acknowledge the screen exists,
and even worse, I can't alt-tab away from it either. Quite frustrating.
Is there some setting I am missing that either tells windows to just
install stuff, or how can I get JAWS to play better with this screen?
Thanks.
