Hi Guys.

Anyone that uses windows7 but doesn't like the standard start menu may want to try classic shell, a link to which is provided further down this email. Classic shell changes your start menu and windows explorer to look like the start menu and explorer found when setting windows xp to classic view, in short the default start menu found in windows 2000. its alot simpler to navigate. Although the settings dialogue isn't very accessible in classic shell, when its installing it will configure the start menu to classic mode by default for you so no settings adjustment should in theory at any rate, be necessary. its only if you want to adjust settings for drag and drop or for what appears on toolbars that you will need to access settings. You can change your start menu back to windows7 either via the settings though a little sited help may be needed, or by simply uninstalling the program. You can also choose what you want to install, for example if you want a windows7 start menu but not classic explorer, or classic windows explorer but not start menu, simply press space on the option when installing and disable the one you don't want. here's the link:

Try up arrow or left arrow. The down arrow is only for items searched.

In Windows XP and earlier, you could down arrow, or up arrow thru the start
menu.
In Windows 7, it is my understanding that the search box is at the top of
the start menu,
if this is true, why can't I down arrow in the start menu?
It would appear to me that down arrowing would move to the next item in the
list.

Thanks in advance,
