Hi Chris,
there's a Jaws guide to audacity available at:
http://bit.ly/axYol6
In addition, there's an audacity mailing list for blind users:
http://www.freelists.org/list/audacity4blind

original message:
If there is anyone on list who regularly uses Audasity for audio production,
would you please write me off list? I have a few questions. I know how to
record
and export audio to mp3, or vorbis, etc. but I need to expand a bit beyond
that.
I'll be more specific once I get some responses, but, essentially, I really
need
some help with how to edit, and also how to multi-track. I hear it's kind a
similar to gold Wave as faras editting, but I just haven't been able to get my
head around how this works in Audasity. I can do it in gW, but, GW won't do
true
over dubbing/multi-tracking. Sure there's paste mix, but that's not what I need
to do. I need to be able to over dubbg in realtime. I know you can do this with
Sonar, but Sonar's not affordable for me at this state in time. Plus due to
other reasons, I don't feel Cakewalk is gonna be comporable at this
time.Anyway,
if you think you can help, or point me to either an audio or text tutorial that
goes fairly in depth, let me know. Also, if there are any audasity scripts in
existance, I'd love 'em, provided that they'd work with jaws 11.
Chris.
