whoa... that is a long time. Some application must be frozen in the
background or isn't working properly. Does this problem exist when you start
a specific program?

I'm using Jaws 12 and Windows XP. I get maybe a ten second or more lag
every time I switch from one task to another or even from one Outlook
folder
to another. Anything I can do about that?
