hello Jane, Betsy and lisa:
I have no idea what my coworker is talking about after I perform CTRL f and
type in the search term and boxes/squares appear.
However, after I select all or back space and delete the text the
squares/boxes disappears.
Am I typing to fast in the search field and accidentally putting in squares?
Can you do that with jaws on the internet in a search box?
Anyways, remains a mystery to me because why would squares appear.

Not sure but if you want to use the back space to get to the beginning where

these supposed boxes are and then type in your search term

Subject: [JAWS-Users] squares in a search box

Hello:

I will try to explain this some how and hope someone will understand.

This is all happening on the internet. I activated the virtual find by
evoking CTRL f. Now I typed in my search but my sighted cohort told me there
were some boxes that needed to be deleted from the search field and that is
why nothing is coming up for the search. Lets say I am searching for news,
but the person says there are some boxes before news and I need to delete
them before proceeding. What are these boxes my sighted cohort is talking
about?blank
