Thank you for your response to this problem. The instructor did send a copy
that she cut and pasted into a word document. However, each line I would
scroll down I got the following message:
"Microsoft Office Word
Word was unable to write some of the embedded objects due to insufficient
memory or disk space."
This seemed a little strange to me because I am using Windows XP Pro with
the following specs: 2.97 GB of RAM and 73.37 GB of Free Space on my Hard
Drive. If you take and copy the entire document into another word document
then you do not get this message with every line you scroll down. Why would
I get this message in the first place. The document or Powerpoint in
question I believe is 1.65 MB. Thanks for the help.

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Further Problems With PPT format and Converting
Hi Josh,
I fear that you have some graphics in that document. It may be that the
graphics are not pertinent to the information, but it's hard to know. We
use the same instructions here at Dolphin Press, but if we have such
things as graphs we have to input the information.

Friends,
I tried the format in which Greg suggested "Outline". I followed step -
by - step what was advised. However, I have converted two PPT documents
and both of them return four readable pages. I know that one of the
Powerpoints has fifty - five slides to it and the other has I think 19
slides. I sent the converted documents to my instructor for review, but
with it only giving me four pages on both I feel that some information is
being left out. The following is the steps in which I did.
Steps for converting the PPT to Word doc.
alt f, pressed the letter u, pressed the letter h, tabbed twice to a list
view, scrolled down to outline format and then tabbed to ok.
I tried it both with pressing enter while outline was highlighted and when
outline was highlighted I also tried the tab method to ok. Either way it
returns a four page result. Am I missing a step to get the full document
to convert? As always any help offered is greatly appreciated. Take care
P.S. This does seem like the method in which my instructor last semester
used.
