?JAWS 12 update created similar problem for me when I install it but it only
happen once. It did not restart and I needed to shut down my PC and restart
and now it works well. I wander whether they check this issues before they
put it for us to get it. Probably not.

My latest experience with the update. This mornigng I got a message saying
there was a update. I installed it and than it happen. Couldn't get into one
of the web sites I use that is a must. Than all the sudden my computer
wouldn't boot up right. Than I did a restore and than the computer wouldn't
boot up. I than shut every thing down and was going to try to repair XP.
But couldn't get the computer to recognize my CD drive. Shut the computer
down and finely got the computer up and running and version 11 up. Tried to
start JFW version 12.5 and everything stopped dead in its track. Got the
computer up and running with version 11 and uninstalled version 12.5. Tried
to install version 12 exe that was in my download folder. Was told the
version was out dated and the window came up, saying that the 40 minute demo
was up and the computer was dead. Started the computer with a cold boot and
uninstalled the version 12.5 Turned on version 11 and went to the
F&S site and downloaded the version 12.5 and this athist said a prayer. The
computer than told me the 40 minutes demo was up. Guess the prayer didn't
work.
Started the computer over again. Went to the site of
F & S and finely downloaded the latest version 12.5. Started to install it,
and the message the 40 minute demo expired. Started the computer and went to
the 12.5 exe and believe it or not, after 3.5 hours every thing is running
like new.\
Now that is real service and I love it when the computer kicks into demo
mode, after paying out for a full version.\

Who couldn't run his computer without a screen reader, and so far JFW for
all its fault is my reader of choice. Don't know why or how, but at present,
I am not running in demo mode. Won't tell you what I was saying, for this is
a co-ed list.
