To use Yahoo mail under IMAP, take your web browser to mail.yahoo.com. Enter your user name and password in the corresponding fields. Tab to the SignIn button and click. You will then be in a standard browser-based e-mail environment. This is how I've been doing my e-mails for years. To use Yahoo mail with an e-mail client, you'll have to find the client's instructions. One final caution, Yahoo mail works better with IE than Firefox.
