I posted this last night, however my e-mail client was having issues, so am
unsure if my mail ever made it to the list.
I just got a drive for my pc that burns both dule layer and single layer
dvd's as the previous drive I had bit the dust, plus was not a dvd burner
anyway.
Call me stupid for asking this, but, all my dvd's are failing when I try to
burn. Would you say that's more a fault of Nero V7 Ultra Edition, or do you
think it's more a fault of my media? the thing is it burns normal CD-R's
fine. My main question is, I am burning onto DVD minus R-s made by Amazon.
they are dule layer 8.7GB. what I'm burning however is only 4 point
something odd gigs. Can you not burn single layer sized things to dule
layer discs? In other words, say I had an iso that was a single layer dvd
image. Do I then have to use a single layer dvd or could I theoreticly
still burn it to a dule. I know that would waiste about half the dvd if I
did that, but I don't have any single layer discs now. All I got's dule.
This is really urgent as the dvd I need to burn is something a customer of
mine ordered. If I can't get the resolved I'll just have to refund 'em
which is fine, I got no issue doing that, but it would be a total bummer for
both of us, but more so for the client.
Thank you for any help.
This btw is a dule layer CD/DVD single/dule layer DVD rom/ram drive with
lightscribe ability made by LG.
Chris.
