Could that be the sound of a pop-up window? Press alt-n for the
Information bar, arrow down, and then press spacebar on one of the allow
options.

Hi Folks,
Running Windows XP-Pro, IE7 and Jaws 10.latest
Recently when I attempt to enter on a link I get a sound
like Jaws cracking his knuckles and nothing happens. When I
arrow over the link it says "visited" however the link did
not open.
The drag is there is no rhyme or reason where this occurs. I
had it happen today on my banking web site and jaws has
worked well there for a number of years.
I've refreshed the screen, maximized the window, made sure
java script and cookies were enabled, attempted to open the
link in a new window, routed Jaws to PC and used the double
click feature all to no avail.
My creditors and I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
