How about you put the question in the message field instead of the subject
field?

Hello all. I'm using Outlook 07 and have a lot of questions. If someone
would mail me off list so I can better explain myself, I would appreciate
it.

Ann: I'm not sure I understand what you're suggesting here. It's true
this
is a spreadsheet, but it's Web-resident, so that any number of people can
access it. So, I don't know that I could change its name, though the
suggestion is interesting for sure.

If it's a spread sheet, can you trick JAWS into believing it's Excel?
Someone else will know better than I, but go to confignames.ini and add a
line reading something like this:
WeirdHomeGrownProgram=excel 2007
I can't find the path to confignames.ini, but windows 7 finds the file.
good luck!

I have no clue whether you have any experience or thoughts or whatever
about this, but I'm not finding any help at this point, so...
We use Sharepoint a lot for a bunch of different activities that I'm
supposed to be taking over as a part of my job. It sucks. I have a
situation for instance where I have a calendar I'm supposed to be
managing, and the only way I've found so far to read it is with the
Jaws cursor. And, sometimes, I can move down by screens by doing a
control-pagedown, sometimes that just switches to the PC cursor.
Sightlings can come and look at my screen and see the calendar, which
is a spreadsheet, but I can't access it at all except with the Jaws
cursor.
I've read some stuff about Sharepoint, and the consensus is that it
sucks and eats yellow snow, but it's what we use here and I have to
figure out some way of accessing it.
I've tried System Access to go, because, sometimes, it works better
than Jaws on weird Excel spreadsheets, but the program just locks up
when I try to move through a Sharepoint site.
Do you think this is something where having somebody write scripts for
Jaws might help.
Any suggestions appreciated. This is not turning out well.

I am just talking out of my blow hole here, since I have no direct
experience here, but I am pretty certain that there are many programs
available that are macro builders. You just give them a series of key
strokes that you want to record, and they will replay them whenever that
macro program is invoked.
Probably a google search of "macro programming" will get some
reasonable results.
