Hi Rich,
The difference between XP Home and Pro, is more networking and security in
XP Pro.
The difference between Jaws Pro and standard, is that you must have Jaws
pro to access XP Pro, and higher versions of Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
As to whether one version of Windows XP, or Jaws is more stable than
another, that always varies from computer to computer.
I have had mixed results with different hardware and software
configurations over the years.
HTH,

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Home v Pro
Hi all;
I have /had 12.0 home and XP home.
I was given a computer from work that had XP pro.
In order to get JAWS to function, I had to upgrade my home version to
pro. $340.00
My question is what is the difference in XP pro v home, as wellas, JAWS
pro v home?
Are there any better features for the added cost?
Thanks.
Rich
