Chris, the Outlook calendar is primarily designed to set up future appointments. However, if you want to learn the current date and your computer has been configured correctly, all you have to do is press Jaws Key F12 twice quickly. One press alone reads the time and two presses quickly will read you the current date. That is assuming of course, that your computer has been set up with the correct time and date.

I have JAWS 12 and Windows XP and using Office 2003. I would like to know if it is possible to get the calendar to read out the actual day too. As at present when looking through my calendar I have no idea what day of the week the 1st of March lands on etc. Can anyone help or give me some tips?
