never mind, I just found my answer... Its confusing though picking these colors. What does automatic mean? which is checked by the way and standard? what is that all about. I am just trying to understand what these different items mean once I arrow down, like I just mentioned, standard, automatic, themes etc. . I might as well ask this question since I am already here don't you read the color with insert five? or can you also do it using insert f? Thanks

I selected the text, pressed the applications key, went to font, and changed the font color to red. Then went back and confirmed that it was red with insert F.
