You might be able to upgrade to IE 7 which works with JAWS 8.

as I just installed about 5 new apps, and wouldnt want to open that can of
worms..suggestions are welcome. I'd upgrade to IE 8, if it's as
functional as firefox, which
is my only way I can brows right now, however, Firefox has its
limitations, it doesnt play
youtube for me, where IE 6 would, or at least the audio...
Would i get much access at all using JFW 8, with IE 8?
