CTRL + SHITF + 8 (on the number row) is a Microsoft Windows keyboard shortcut.
Like a very large number of Windows shortcuts used by JAWS users.

I have been all over the jaws help files and I do not remember coming across
the key strokes that we mentioned here concerning CTRL shift 8 or alt h 8.
Where would someone find keystrokes such as what was mentioned earlier?
As I stated, i through it out there from learning it from someone else but I
have always been curious to know where people find these key strokes.

Thanks.

That's how windows works, often enough there is at least 2 ways to do the
same thing. I ran in to this problem last year on a guy's system in town and

my wife looked up the answer for me at that time. Then I tandem up and had
it fixed in a split second.

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up

That also works and to turn it back on if someone so desires press that same
keystroke again.
So we have two key strokes here. alt h followed by eight under the function
keys and CTRL shift 8. Funny how there is so many keystrokes to do the same
thing. :)

Control shift 8 on the number row if memory serves.

If I remember right it is alt h followed by the eight under the function
keys.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] How to remove Paragraph Mark from A Word Document

Hello all.
I am currently using Jaws 11, Windows XP and Word 7.
Incidentally, from time to time I share my computer with a sighted user.
Today, for some reason, I notice that all my Word documents say "Paragraph
Mark" even though I nor the other person know what was done to insert this
mark.
Question: how do I remove this paragraph mark?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Pete
