Hmmm, Strange. My wife just installed Jaws 12.1158 on her Win 7 64-bit
machine and reported that Windows Live Mail works fine.
She had rolled back from an update to Windows Live mail a month ago, so I
don't know which version of WLM she is using, but she had no problem when
upgrading to Jaws 12.0.1158

may be an idea to see if JAWS11 now works with WLM, before attempting
anything else. A reinstall of JAWS12 official version may also be good.
